变电运行是供电企业相对艰苦的岗位，但又是值得尊敬的岗位。刚一进入这个部门时，我就感受得到变电值班员们的质朴与可爱。每逢节假日，当人们在与家人团聚的时候，他们仍然坚守在岗位，即便一句节日的问候也足以让他们感动不已。由于工作的原因，一些来自外地的小伙子们已经好几年没有回家过年了。
变电运行又是一项安全责任较大的技术工作，从设备的正常巡视、倒闸操作到事故抢修，都需要我们运行人员细致而准确的应对，容不得丝毫马虎。目前--供电公司监控中心共管辖12个变电站，其中220kv变电站2座、110kv变电站5座、35kv变电站5座，并且有5座城郊变电站正在准备接收之中。班组在人员少、任务重的情况下，战胜了一个又一个困难。多少个酷暑严寒，他们决战在变电所内;多少个滂沱大雨的深夜，为了确保设备的完好运行，他们在设备区排查设备故障和查看变电所排涝情况;多少个日日夜夜，家人在为他们牵挂和担心……无论多么恶劣的自然环境，他们从没有放弃和逃避，这是敬业爱岗精神的真实体现，他们用火一样的热情和默默无闻的奉献精神，实践着自己的人生价值。
急用户所急，想用户所想，这是我们工作的宗旨。由于班组人少事多，大家没有被超负荷的工作量压倒，顽强的战斗在生产一线，像忠诚的卫士一样守护--城区电网的供电安全。只要现场有故障，大家便会像接到命令的战士一样，冲到现场抢险排障。不管工作任务有多重，压力有多大，班组时刻把安全生产放在首位，时刻从严要求全体班员保证人身、设备和电网安全。特别是在迎峰度夏期间，大家经受住了高温“烤”验，全班20名成员排除了一个又一个故障，向公司和客户交出了一份又一份满意的答卷，为--地区的高温保电做出了积极的贡献。他们肩上担的是公司、工区的安全责任，心中想的是集体的利益，他们牢记“服务电力，造福人民”的光荣使命，在自己的岗位上全身心的投入与付出。就这样日复一日，年复一年，他们在基层一线为电力事业默默无闻的奉献着自己的青春才华;他们没有惊天动地的壮举，没有激昂澎湃的豪言壮志，他们靠激情，靠热心，凭实力，凭信誉为公司取得了一连串的骄人业绩!正是因为他们这种无私奉献的精神，才有公司不断的发展和壮大。

Learn what a self-confident person is really like. They are not cocky, know-it-all people who don’t care what anybody else thinks. They have their doubts. And make mistakes. And are far from perfect. However, they are willing to acknowledge their inadequacies without dwelling on them. They do this by maintaining a sense of humor, putting problems in perspective, and focusing mainly on what they’ve done right, not wrong.
Though self-confident people do believe in themselves, they don’t try to suffocate others with their ideas or beliefs. They are confident in what they know not only because they read, learn and think but also because they respect their instinct, intuition and the unique body of knowledge that they’ve developed by living life. They realize that one doesn't have to be labeled an “expert” to believe in one's own truths.
Self-confident people don’t undermine their own worth by comparing themselves with others, only to conclude that they aren’t “good enough”. They appreciate their strengths and accomplishments and can acknowledge, without embarrassment, their weaknesses. They don’t live in the “victim” position. Even if something really bad has occurred, they turn it into a challenge, remembering to be grateful for the little things in life.
Self-confident people let the world know who they are. If they want something badly enough, they know they have every right to “go for it.” Yet, they also know that the path will rarely be easy. Mistakes, blunders and failures are part of the learning process. They seek to learn from their mistakes and do not waste time torturing themselves over what “could have been”.
Self-confident people are not obstinate people. If they have an idea about something and it differs from the way another person is thinking about it, they will usually try to look at it from that person’s point of view, see why it makes sense to them. Yet, a confident person’s sense of self is grounded. It does not blow in the wind. Their ideas do not fluctuate based on what others deem are important.
I hope these insights are helpful to you. If so, perhaps one day you will be able to say what the actress Phyllis Rashad once said, simply but eloquently, ” I am just myself and who I am is a lot.”

今天，我很荣幸地坐在这里，作为你们孩子的英语老师，和你们共同探讨一下“怎样帮助孩子学好英语”，由于水平有限，在各位家长面前班门弄斧，不当之处，敬请批评指正。
这一届的学生在英语方面是我从三年级起一手带起来的，每个学生、每个班级的学习情况我都了如指掌，其实在座的家长对自己子女的情况比我更加清楚。学生们都是在三年级时同一起跑线上起跑的，经过三年来的学习，学生与学生之间已经拉开了差距。一些好的学生学习兴趣浓，学习劲头足，课堂上积极思维，踊跃发言，课后及时巩固，形成了良性循环的好势头。他们的学习习惯好，在听、说、读、写方面都能齐头并进，他们有时已经不满足于老师所教的东西，经常跟我探讨一些书本以外的知识，我为他们感到欣慰。可也有一些学生，平时学习马虎，基础不扎实，功亏一篑，导致他们现在课上听讲出现困难，用他们自己的话说：“老师上课，我听不懂。”听不懂，还不努力，书面作业拖拉不交，口头作业根本不完成，如此一来，学习自然成了件头痛事，麻烦事。其实，大部分的学生还是处于中间层次，老师所教的，所布置的作业能够基本完成，但学习的效率又因人而异，存在着个体差别。尽管他们平时不需要老师操太多的心，费太大的力，但是说起各方面的表现，又总有一丝遗憾，我们总希望他们能够再上一个台阶。
怎样帮助孩子学好英语呢?我们老师自然是最直接的知识传授者，有着不可推卸的责任。在此，我们只是真诚地呼吁我们的家长配合学校，配合老师，靠我们共同的努力来帮助孩子学好英语。用一句时髦的话说：我们要和孩子共同成长。
一、重视孩子非智力因素的培养
心理学家研究表明，在人们的学习和事业成功的道路上，非智力因素往往起着更大的作用。因此，我们要让孩子具有良好的心理素质和个性品质，来促进孩子的学习。经常有这样的现象：有的学生智力平平，但是他靠自己的勤奋和毅力取得了优异的成绩;也有的学生头脑灵活，思维敏捷，但是学习上缺乏应有的习惯，三天打鱼，两天晒网，最终收获甚微。可见，兴趣、情感和毅力等非智力因素在学生的学习中起着更为重要的作用。我们家长要认识到这一点，就没有必要去埋怨孩子笨，也没有必要为自己孩子的智商高而沾沾自喜。你要了解自己孩子的习性，在日常生活中多关心一下他的学习情况，特别是他学习上困难和烦恼，多鼓励他，多督促他，多帮助他，让他感觉到学习英语是很重要的，有那么多人在关注着他，从而增强他的学习责任感，并把这种意识转化为学习的兴趣和动力，促使他一步一步的向前，等他有了进步，尝到了成功的喜悦，那时他的学习自觉性就会大大提高了。一句话，不管是哪一类的学生，说到学习，就离不开一个“勤”字。
二、重视良好的学习习惯的培养
习惯的力量是一种巨大而持久的力量，许多重要的事情正是靠习惯的力量去完成的。联合国教科文组织在“学会生存”一书中指出：在未来社会里，文盲将不是不识字的人，而是那些不懂得学习方法、不会自行更新知识的人，家长希望自己的子女在未来的社会中长大成才，不可不注意对他们进行学习方法的指导，和学习习惯的养成。
(1)让孩子多听录音
在少儿英语教学中，首先是加强听力训练和说话训练，然后才是读写能力的培养。听说能力差，用英语进行交际的能力差，是以往英语教学中的问题所在，是现代儿童英语教学中要全力改进的。为此，家长一定要配合学校来要求孩子，要创造条件让孩子多听，多听纯正的录音，习惯听原声带，注意听正确的语音、语调和语气，听几遍、听清楚了以后，跟着说，这样做，可以弥补一些因我们英语老师语音不够纯正的不足。多听、多说可以让孩子尽快达到“脱口而出”、“出口成句”，哪怕是一两个词代表的句子，因为句子是语言的最小单位。再有，如汉语中有“四声”的特点一样，英语中有长音、短音和双元音等不同于汉语的发音要求，要注意学和正确发好，否则谈不上学到地道的英语。
(2)让孩子大声说英语
家长要每天留出15分钟左右时间让孩子读读英语，不管当天有无英语课。我们要鼓励孩子大声地朗读、对话、问答，大声说，不害羞，这样有利于清楚地表达自己，也有利于他人纠正自己的错误，还有利于培养大胆、开朗、自信的良好个性。
(3)让孩子熟练背诵课文和单词背诵是一项基本功，可以积累一些日常用语，等到用的时候就可以脱口而出。但是在背诵过程中要讲究方法，不可操之过急，要注意分散和集中相结合。我们一般一单元要花两个星期时间来教，第一个星期重点背诵单词，按教学进度熟读所教课文;第二个星期重点背诵课文，可以分段背诵，等快教完的时候，再把课文串起来背，这样可以降低一点难度，让学生背得轻松些。但是在检查过程中，我们发现有一部分学生背得相当熟练，可问他课文中的某个词组或句子的意思时，他却一问三不知。所以，我们在背诵过程中要注意上下文的理解，在理解的基础上达到背诵的要求，课文中涉及到的相关词组和句型，要让学生熟记，并能用它们来造句、说话。
单词亦是如此，分散记忆、根据读音记忆单词都是可取的方法。有时，我们回家作业布置抄写单词，其目的不在于抄，而在于提醒学生记忆这些单词。一般，每次的单词量为5个左右，方便学生记忆。但是在日常学习中，学生不重视这项作业，认为只是抄抄而已，不做也没什么关系，其实他连抄写都不做，根本别说是去背了，结果几次下来，他负债累累，应付不过来，学习处于被动状态，从而影响了以后的学习，出现退步现象。因此，请大家在家里督促孩子保质保量地完成英语作业，该读的读、该说的说、该写的写、该记的记，及时巩固，养成良好的习惯。
三、创造良好的家庭环境
(1)良好的物质条件
这一点是不难做到的。即：让还孩子有自己的学习场所，没有单独房间的，要给他隔出一个“学习角”，放有书架、录音机等用具。
(2)营造良好的学习气氛
这比良好的物质条件还要重要，直接影响孩子的情感智商的发展。主要包括这几个方面：首先，营造融洽的家庭关系，让孩子有安全感，能安心学习。其次，鼓励孩子勤学好问，提倡大家互相学习。遇到不懂的、不会的问题，亲子一道查字典、翻阅资料，这样做，不仅会提高家长的威信，提高孩子学习的积极性，还会增加家庭中的许多乐趣。再次，父母亲的良好榜样。孩子一般还没有明确的学习目的，这时，父母亲对学习的态度，特别是行为，会极大地影响孩子。
孩子是每个家庭的重心和希望，有一位家长说过：“要把培养孩子当作自己的事业来做。”是啊，只要你多投入一点，相信你的孩子会给予你更多的回报!
Legends
There are many legends about Spring Festival in Chinese culture. In folk culture, it is also called “guonian” (meaning “passing a year”). It is said that the “nian” (year) was a strong monster which was fierce and cruel and ate one kind of animal including human being a day. Human beings were scared about it and had to hide on the evening when the “nian” came out. Later, people found that “nian” was very scared about the red color and fireworks. So after that, people use red color and fireworks or firecrackers to drive away “nian”. As a result, the custom of using red color and setting off fireworks remains.

4月27日上午9时，第三届中国媒体经营管理论坛在京举行，中华人民共和国新闻出版总署副署长李东东出席并致词。本届论坛将就“媒企和-谐”、“新技术引导的未来出版业”、“全国11城市都市类报纸发行量公布”几大议题展开研讨。
据论坛主办方国新出版物发行数据调查中心提供的数据，全国各省级新闻出版局报刊处、国内最顶尖媒体、大中型广告公司、大广告主和国外媒体界知名人士共约300余名代表参加了会议。
以下是《财经》杂志的总经理吴传晖发言的全文：
各位同行、各位朋友，大家好，很高兴得到这个主办单位的邀请，到这里跟大家沟通探讨“媒体与企业共赢”这么一个话题。刚才华盖创意这位先生给了我们一个很棒的视觉盛宴。其实归根到底，这些图片都是用在媒体上，无论它是纸媒，还是网站，还是商家的广告。
我刚刚来的时候，我也在想，一路上因为交通很堵，马上要放假了，甚至堵得开不了。其实我们常常发现在路上这么堵的阶段，拥挤不仅仅是汽车，可能一百米的路上都有很多的广告蹦到大家眼前，包括灯箱的个、楼宇的广告，所谓这些形态都可以在很短路程里看到，刚才啊，手机里收到招行的促销广告。实际上每个人、每一天都被大量媒体所包围，我们可能是看着报纸，吃着早饭，听着电台广播去上班。在等电梯时还有其它的东西看一下。到办公室，msn上还有其它的广告，进了电邮，还有一些垃圾邮件。中午时，你下楼吃饭时，可能人家塞给你一些宣传片，回到家里你会翻翻杂志，基本上我们中国已经进入媒体泛滥的时代，十几年前，我们想，可能能看的就几个频道，全国真正比较成功的商业兴市场化的媒体是屈指可数的。今天我们很容易超过60个电视频道，可以选择的网站可能是几千个，任何一栋楼都有像分众这样的传播媒体。连出租车的椅背上都有了小的电视屏幕了，过去三月份中国有差不多超过20本杂志创刊或者重新改版。
在这样的情况下，每个人都很困惑，比较迷惑，受众是觉得这个信息在爆炸，不知道选择什么样的消息渠道，应该浏览什么样的信息，企业也挑花眼了，每个媒体都在兜售自己的受众和传播力。媒体的日子其实越来越难过，为什么我这么说呢?因为你的受众越来越挑剔了，企业要拼命给你压价，在任何一个领域，任何一个媒体，都面临着一大堆的模仿者、跟随者或者是挑战者，每一个所谓的我们叫出版人或者叫媒体经营的负责人，都在想怎么样使自己媒体与众不同、脱颖而出。但是我个人还是认为，整体而言，媒体其实并没有因为数量的增加而贬值，因为大量缺乏有品质的媒体，这些缺乏品质的媒体是没有价值的。媒体的泛滥也只是相对的，因为好的媒体资源永远是稀缺的，什么叫好的媒体?是可以创造价值的媒体。
我今天想说，拥有这创造价值的媒体才可以与企业共赢。这是我今天在这里想表达的一个思路。一个重要的问题就是什么是媒体的价值或者说媒体能为谁带来什么样的价值。当然我们都很清楚，媒体存在的价值和意义，在于它所谓“中间人”的位置，因为我们把信息带给受众，把受众的注意力带给我们的广告主，这是一个真理，可是在今天的市场环境里，其实情况可能要复杂一些。刚才讲了，现在的社会并不是稀缺的，而是非常充足的，甚至是多余的，有时甚至让你感觉带来负担。如果真的媒体贬值，最主要的原因信息本身在贬值，刚才华盖创意那位先生也说到，人们正在改变获取信息的方式和介质，你是看还是阅读，有很多的选择。但是，在这样一个环境下，我反而觉得，媒体没有失去其存在的价值在于因为好的媒体反而有更多的机会。也就是说，包括在我们编辑团队或者我们在经营部分，我们一直比较强调所谓好的团体，是有品质的媒体及，反而会有更多的机会可以成功，什么叫好的媒体?我们认为是好的媒体能够帮助受众把信息变成知识。
I always think there is not enough time. For example， I have just taken athree-day holiday. But when I look back， I just feel that it‘s only one day.There goes a proverb， “Time is money”。 Now I want to say， time is more preciousthan money， because when money is spent， we can earn some more again. However，when time is gone or lost， never will it return.
Time goes without being noticed. The time for our study and work is usuallylimited. So I think we must make full use of our time. But it‘s a pity that I amalways not aware of the importance of time until it’s too late.
So I think， I should get into the good habit of saving time because wastingtime is equal to wasting one‘s life. Do not put off what can be done today tilltomorrow!
我总是认为没有足够的时间。例如，我刚刚完成了一个三天的假期。但当我回头看时，我只是觉得它只是一天。俗话说“时间就是金钱”，现在我想说的是，时间比金钱更宝贵，因为当钱花了，我们可以再挣一些。但是，当时间消失或失去，永远不会返回。
