家里热闹起来了。"年廿八，洗邋遢"，这个习俗我想很多佛山人都淡忘了，我起初更是连这个说法都不知道。洗邋遢主要是为了辞旧迎新。人们在年廿八的时候，都会将家中的香炉、房间以及除了厕所以外的所有东西都打扫一遍，以干干净净的面貌迎接新年的.到来。同时，人们还会换上新衣服，洗洗脚，让自己以全新的面貌来迎接新年。
晚上。我们家每年都会有一次年夜饭，不管是老的还是少的，不管是在家的还是在外工作的，都会赶回到家，一起帮忙做些家常菜，然后看着电视，一起谈天说地，其乐融融，一直到深夜……然后我们会在一起燃放鞭炮，驱走不吉利的鬼怪--"除夕"，家家比赛放鞭炮，看谁家的响。

最后就是最热闹拜年啦。年初一，人们早早起床，迎春祭神完毕后，一家人在厅堂举行拜年礼仪。拜年礼后，人们可以出去走亲访友，相互拜年，恭祝新年大吉大利。他们有的带一些小小的心意，有的专程来叙叙旧，叙叙去年的感受……
